“European Gros, Grosso or Groschen” Alan Dunlop Revisiting the History and Arts of the Medieval Euro
The regular Society meeting on Friday night 2nd November 2018 was supposed to feature two member's short talks. Instead, Alan filled in at short notice with two short talks on the medieval silver coinage. Both presentations were received with great interest and we are looking forward to seeing Alan making further progress in his studies of medieval European coins and medals. The invited talk by Timothy Millett at SBSA on Friday 5th October 2018 attracted an audience rarely seen at the Society meeting in the recent years.
