On the bright morning of Friday 17th August 2018, a cheerful company of five members in two luxury cars headed to Dublin to see and sense the millenary history of the city, reputedly, first mentioned as Eblana by Ptolemy, built up by the Vikings, raised in stone by the Normans and made illustrious through the lives and deeds of its mixed-race inhabitants in the centuries past, growing from the raiders’ winter station and slave market into the heart and soul of the Irish state
